This is Meta Violence in its purest form. In a masculine-centric narrative, war is weaponized as 'resistance' or 'stability.' Stripped of these terms, it is a logic that degrades human bodies—especially those of the structurally weak—into consumable tools. The 'safety' of the Prime Minister contrasted with the 'death' of civilians reveals the cruelty of structural violence: the core of power is shielded, while violence is outsourced to the flesh of the marginalized.
More ironically, this conflict is framed as a front of the 'Iran war,' further objectifying Yemeni lives as by-products of great-power competition. In this narrative, no one possesses subjectivity; there are only labels like 'proxies' or 'vassals.' As missiles explode over Aden, what is destroyed is not just a building, but the potential for peace. The gap between Potential and Actual is the exact measure of the Violence Triangle driven by masculine lust for power.
