By posing as contractors, these men tricked their way into a sanctuary, executing a violent invasion in an existential war for dominance. They don't care about 'paperwork' or 'facts'; they care about the high of violating a private space and converting that violation into clicks. In this game, the asylum seekers' subjectivity is erased, reducing them to mere 'specimens' and objects for consumption.
Even more repulsive is the 'auditor' narrative. By citing 'common law' to override statutory law, they are employing meta violence: redefining 'law' and 'justice' to frame home invasion as 'civic duty.' This narrative provides the cultural violence necessary to legitimize far-right aggression, making a simple break-in look like a 'patriotic' inspection.
Meanwhile, the reactions from the Home Office and Serco reveal the underlying structural violence. In this outsourced HMO system, the very existence of these asylum seekers is a state of deprivation. The fact that 'nationalists' can easily source addresses and barge in proves that the system's security was never designed to protect these members of the Primal Race as actual humans. In this field of complicity, the government provides substandard housing, the far-right provides the violent performance, and the platforms provide the reach until flagged. Everyone gets a piece of the profit from this ritual of dehumanization.
