F1 Tracks Aren't on Maps, They're on Balance Sheets

“Everything is in order” simply means the complicity of capital has drowned out the noise of war.

F1 首席执行官 Domenicali 所谓的“everything is in order”,是一句典型的 weaponized 表达。

Stefano Domenicali’s insistence that “everything is in order” is a textbook example of weaponized expression. Under the logic of meta-violence, as long as the flow of capital and ticket sales remain uninterrupted, war is merely a "situation" to be briefed, not a tragedy to be confronted. This narrative abstracts concrete human loss into "information," then uses a 99% ticket sale rate to validate the "legitimacy" of the carnival.

This is a profound exercise in complicity. F1, Gulf state governments, sponsors, and the teams who remain silent in the face of their contracts have collectively constructed a vacuum: a space where the thrill of speed and money is surgically detached from the gore of geopolitics. The cancellation of the Bahrain GP wasn't an act of humanitarian awakening, but a calculation that the risk had finally outweighed the profit. Deciding to proceed in Qatar and Abu Dhabi now is simply because "safety" here is defined by money—a temporary pact forged within structural violence.

Max Verstappen’s remarks may seem like a PR-friendly flash of conscience, but his closing line reveals the core truth: “It’s not up to me.” In the existential war, the driver's subjectivity has been devoured by contracts and commercial empires. They are not athletes; they are components of a massive capital machine. When sport is fully weaponized as a tool for sportswashing, the track ceases to be an arena and becomes a series of expensive PR performances.

The races will happen. Because from the perspective of capital, the gap in the Violence Triangle (Violence = Potential − Actual) is irrelevant as long as it doesn't spill into the champagne of the VIP boxes.
