This is a form of complicity: the financial system raises rates to directly convert the living space of the bottom—their ability to house themselves—into passive income for the top. This wealth transfer is weaponized as 'financial choice' and 'market competition,' tricking the beneficiaries into believing they won the game through 'patience' or 'timing.' In reality, they are simply sitting at the distribution table of meta-violence.
As for the 'cost of living crisis' and 'energy bills' mentioned, they are treated as gentle reminders for savers 'not to lock away all their cash.' For those in true survival crises, there is no choice to 'lock into' or 'hedge bets' because their Actual state has already hit the rock bottom. This guide is essentially an internal manual for co-conspirators: telling those already on shore how to more efficiently harvest those drowning in the water.
