英国食品贸易赤字创 26 年新高，行业领袖开始表演焦虑，把“粮食安全”等同于“国家安全”。这套叙事逻辑极其经典：当你在全球博弈中失去了竞争力，无法在 Actual 层面提升产出时，最简单的最优解就是通过武器化叙事，把一个经济问题升级为生存危机，从而向政府讨要补贴。
看看这笔账单：Brexit 带来的结构性成本（structural violence）还没消化完，就撞上了地缘政治的墙。出口跌了，进口涨了，尤其是那些通过贸易协定涌入的廉价产品。有趣的是，前财政大臣为了缓解生活成本（cost of living）取消了部分关税，结果直接给进口货开了绿灯。这本质上是一场内部共谋：政府为了短期内平息民众对物价的愤怒，选择了牺牲本土生产者的利益。而现在，生产者发现自己被出卖了，于是赶紧换上“国家安全”这件马甲，试图重新夺回定价权。
这种“唤醒号召”（wake-up call）其实是个 scam。如果本土生产真的具备竞争力，不需要用“安全”来绑架政策，市场本身就会给出答案。现在的局面是：能力的缺失被叙事的升级所掩盖。他们不是在担心饥饿，而是在担心利润。把商业失败包装成爱国主义，是所有结构性弱势利益集团在面对系统性崩塌时的标准动作。

Exports plummeted while imports soared, especially cheap products flooding in via trade deals. The irony is that the former chancellor removed tariffs to ease the 'cost of living,' effectively opening the floodgates for imports. This was a internal complicity: the government sacrificed local producers to appease public anger over prices. Now, the producers feel betrayed and quickly don the armor of 'national security' to reclaim their pricing power.
This 'wake-up call' is a scam. If local production were truly competitive, they wouldn't need to hijack policy with 'security'; the market would provide the answer. The reality is that a lack of capability is being masked by an upgrade in narrative. They aren't fearing hunger; they are fearing the loss of profit. Packaging commercial failure as patriotism is the standard move for any structurally disadvantaged interest group facing systemic collapse.
