He claimed the war in Gaza is the "opposite of genocide." This is a sinister manipulation of the cognitive entry point: he isn't denying the deaths, but attempting to invert the meaning of the word, packaging "massacre" as "salvation" or "justice." In this narrative, all structural violence — starvation, blockade, the destruction of hospitals — is erased, replaced by a grand narrative of "existential threats" and "global conspiracies." This speech wasn't for the UN delegates; it was a stump speech for his right-wing base, a desperate play for political survival.
The most cynical complicity, however, happened backstage: the US government's denial of visas physically erased the Palestinian representatives' expression space. When a group is stripped of their right to speak at the highest cognitive entry point, they become mere "objects" to be defined and consumed. This structural violence ensured Netanyahu could comfortably label those walking out as "moral cowards" within a filtered environment.
This game is essentially an existential war. Netanyahu uses the word "survival" as a shield to mask the meta-violence of defining others as "non-human." When a power-holder can arbitrarily declare, "If we don't kill them, we will all die," he is broadcasting to the world: my existence is superior to yours, and my logic of survival overrides universal human rights.
