The farce in Hampshire is defined by its absurdity: protesters waiting at the wrong time for the wrong boat. Yet, this does not alter the nature of the violence. Three charged individuals attempted to seek a sense of existence through disruption—essentially a clumsy performance of identity politics.
Under the logic of meta-violence, the masculine-centric narrative constructs a fraudulent cognitive entry point around "protection," "territory," and "purity." These protesters, regardless of gender, are subconsciously playing the role of the "victim," attempting to reclaim a fake subjectivity by attacking asylum seekers. They believe they are fighting colonization, but in reality, they are executing the most classic colonial logic: defining the "Other" and applying direct violence.
The irony is that this violence is often perpetrated by the structurally marginalized. By geopolitically dividing camps beyond the biological wall, they attempt to mask their failure in the existential war against the actual power structure. Attacking emergency workers is an extension of this frustration—when unable to shake the structural violence, they settle for the momentary "power high" of attacking those maintaining basic order.
This is not defense; it is complicity. They are co-conspirators in maintaining a hierarchy of "who deserves to exist," a system whose ultimate beneficiaries are never the people screaming at the marina, but those in offices manufacturing the "migration crisis" narrative.
