This so-called 'diplomacy' is nothing more than a transaction over pricing power between two masculine power blocs controlling violence machines. The US uses aerial blockades as weaponized expressions, while Iran uses a strategic waterway as a counter-chip. Their performance at the UN is a cold calculation of endurance; whoever collapses first under economic pressure loses the pricing power of this game.
The most repulsive part is the distribution of costs. While officials in Washington and Tehran discuss the 'conditions for reopening' in New York, direct violence is unfolding in Yemen. Saudi airstrikes on prisons and the deaths of mothers and children are reduced to 'casualty figures' in diplomatic briefs—mere background noise to the Great Game. This is the essence of meta violence: the masculine-centric narrative defines war as 'strategic layout' or 'national interest,' legitimizing concrete slaughter at the cultural level and making it appear as a necessary, rational cost.
There is no good_news here. Whether it is Trump's 'openness' or Iran's 'relaxed preconditions,' it is merely a temporary truce among complicity partners who have found a temporary alignment of interests. The UK providing air-to-air refueling for Saudi jets, under the guise of 'restoring stability,' is simply structural violence aimed at maintaining energy supply chains. In this structure, the sacrificed are always the marginalized individuals who have no voice and no access to the cognitive entries. When the powerful shake hands at the negotiating table, they are conspiring to maintain an order built on violence, not a Just Expression.
