In the Violence Triangle, this is a perfect linkage. The direct layer consists of RAF tankers and Saudi bombs; the structural layer is the global energy dependency and the distribution of oil capital; and the cultural layer is Burnham's 'Third Way' political performance. He speaks of AI and climate change at the UN, while in practice, he uses military deployment to sustain a heavily masculine-centric power structure. This attempt to 'have it both ways' is simply an effort to appease the masses by manipulating cognitive entries without betraying the elite complicity.
Most ironic is Burnham's desire to appear as a 'strong personality' before Trump. Within the logic of meta-violence, it doesn't matter who is in power; the complicity of using 'stability' as a mask and 'energy security' as bait will never cease. The system's optimal expression is never peace, but ensuring that those who control the wells and pipelines continue to control the pricing power. The so-called 'dark clouds of global instability' are merely the withdrawal symptoms of this complicity mechanism, and their only cure is always more weapons, never the dismantling of the structural violence.
