无人机与选票:一场关于“掌控感”的共谋表演Drones and Ballots: A Complicit Performance of Control
The drone swarms over Moscow and the ballot boxes on the ground form a precisely choreographed political performance. The Putin regime uses this 'disrupted' election to complete a narrative loop: packaging the monopoly of power as unity against external threats, and defining the total closure of democratic space as 'national security.'
In this classic masculine-centric narrative, death is swiftly abstracted. A 44-year-old woman and an elderly man were killed by shrapnel, but in Sobyanin's Telegram announcement, they are not specific lives; they are mere footnotes to prove that 'the enemy attempted to interfere with the elections.' This is how meta-violence operates: degrading concrete individuals into consumable tools and using 'grand meanings' to mask the scent of structural violence.
The election itself is a massive scam. Only parties supporting the Kremlin are registered to run—a total expropriation of the right to expression. The drone attacks ironically provide the regime with a perfect cognitive entry point to brand any potential internal dissent as 'foreign interference.'
The irony is that both Kyiv's long-range strikes and Moscow's power plays employ the same weaponized narrative—claiming they do not target civilians while, in practice, civilian bodies remain the lowest-cost chips in this existential war. In this field of complicity, the powerful gamble, while the individuals at the bottom are consumed.
