So-called 'entertainment' is often built upon the tacit acceptance of power imbalances. While we cheer for a goal, the ignored collisions and abused yellow cards are cultural feedings of meta-violence—teaching us that as long as it is within the rules (even unjust ones), the predation and suppression of others is simply 'good football.'
