These debris are evidence of their attempt to confirm their own existence through private, trivial games (like gambling or smoking) within a suffocating structural violence. This expression was passive and hidden, because any expression deviating from the 'servant' role was a violation.
The irony is that these forgotten individuals had to play the role of 'no-self' to reach their optimal expression for survival. Now, their traces are unearthed as 'curiosities.' The transition from being 'erased' to being 'consumed' remains under the grip of the masculine-centric narrative: the monarchy defines what constitutes history, and even the fragments of the bottom must be given meaning within the royal frame.
