They attempt to justify structural violence by attacking the expression of the victims, suggesting that their lack of 'professionalism' makes their dismissal legitimate.
This is more than a labor dispute; it is a battle over existence. Facing a project like GTA VI, which is projected to generate billions, individual employees are reduced to mere components. The watch list is a mechanism of structural violence designed to mark 'organized workers' as 'potential offenders.' The goal is clear: destroy the possibility of union complicity at the peak of production pressure to ensure absolute control over the means of production.
Rockstar's defense—that only 13 of 154 signatories were fired—is a cynical use of statistics to mask a targeted purge. In reality, once the 13 organizers are removed, the remaining 141 will internalize obedience through fear. This is the optimal expression of power: you don't need to kill everyone; you only need to eliminate those who dare to define the 'injustice.'
