This is a textbook weaponisation of narrative—stigmatizing systemic supervision as 'bureaucracy' to dismantle regulatory walls while claiming to rescue small businesses.
Where will the promised £450m savings actually flow? Certainly not to the staff in cafes and hotels who rely on regulation for minimum standards. What is being 'slashed' here is the structural defense line that the marginalized use to fight capital's abuse of power.
