教育大纲里的“男权垄断”:文学课不是在教阅读,而是在教顺从The 'Manopoly' of Curricula: Literature Class as a Site of Meta-Violence

当 95% 的教材由男性书写,文学教育就成了元暴力的洗脑场。
When 95% of texts are male-authored, literary education becomes a brainwashing site for meta-violence.

This report exposes a nauseating structural violence: only 5% of GCSE students in England study female authors. This isn't a matter of 'classic selection'; it is a precise monopoly of cognitive entry points. When teenagers are fed almost exclusively narratives of 'men's worlds,' 'male violence,' and 'male redemption,' the system sends a subconscious signal: male experience is universal, while female expression is marginal, secondary, or invisible.

This 'Manopoly' is a textbook case of meta-violence. By defining what constitutes a 'classic,' the masculine-centric narrative is rebranded as a natural, objective truth. Students aren't learning literature; they are absorbing weaponized expressions where violence is normalized and male subjectivity is deified. As the mother in the article rightly notes, when the syllabus is saturated with the bloodshed of Lord of the Flies and Macbeth, the school normalizes the idea that power, conflict, and profound suffering belong solely to men, while women are either background noise or witches.

The most insidious part is the complicity. Exam boards refuse to update lists to protect commercial interests and avoid development costs; schools comply for the sake of grades and convenience. Under this complicity, education becomes a scam—claiming to nurture 'empathy' while stripping women and minorities of the power to define humanity. If a child never encounters a female perspective in school, they can never achieve Just Expressions in reality, because their cognitive map lacks a female subject.

While the recommended reading list feels like good_news, don't be fooled by 'suggestions.' Unless the Department for Education mandates gender balance, this is merely a performative concession at the cultural layer. True victory isn't found in a few authors suggesting books, but in the total demolition of the biological wall built by 'the classics,' ensuring the power of interpretation actually changes hands.
