把创伤当成噪音,是弱势者唯一的解释权Noise as the Only Agency: Turning Trauma into a Weapon

当语言被元暴力垄断,只有通过身体的自毁式表达才能确证存在。
When language is monopolized by meta-violence, only self-destructive expression can validate existence.

A band called PISS blends sexual violence, Andrea Dworkin’s theories, and noise-punk. While naive critics might call this 'art,' from the perspective of existential war, it is a brutal gambit for expression. For survivors of sexual violence, language has been weaponized by the masculine-centric narrative—they are either labeled as 'victims' or 'consenting,' both of which result in the death of subjectivity.

Taylor Zantingh realized that attempting to 'confess' or 'describe' trauma literally is futile because the cognitive entry points are controlled by perpetrators and their complicity. Thus, she chose the most extreme expression: using her body as a biological wall, transforming structural violence into visible direct violence through twitching, screaming, and self-destructive performance. She isn't performing pain; she is forcibly carving out an entry point for her own interpretation in the public sphere.

The irony lies with the men sniggering in the crowd, shouting 'Woke!' They use this political label to maintain their status as co-conspirators, attempting to mask biological facts with ideology. As Zantingh noted, these people need the show most of all—they are the executors or beneficiaries of that meta-violence. Their 'discomfort' stems from the fact that PISS strips away all romanticized or 'civilized' veneers, thrusting the raw reality of meta-violence directly into their faces.

Yet, this remains a costly game. When one's existence must be built upon the continuous excavation of suffering, this 'optimal expression' becomes a tragic, unsustainable loop. She has won back the right to define her reality, but the price is a nightly psychic crucifixion.
