The Meat-Eaters' Fear of Tofu

Weaponizing diet is essentially the masculine-centric narrative monopolizing the definition of 'strength'.

这种反应是典型的 complicity(共谋)。

Republicans using 'Vegan' as a political slur is absurd, yet logically precise. In a masculine-centric narrative, meat-eating is not just a diet; it is a symbol of power, dominance, and control. Eating meat signifies being at the top of the food chain, possessing the genes of a predator. Conversely, 'tofu' and 'plant-based' are equated with being feeble or 'wokerati'. This is an existential war over definitions: those who don't eat meat are framed as biologically unfit for power because they lack the 'will to dominate'.

More ironic is the reaction of the Democratic candidates. Faced with 'vegan accusations', their first instinct isn't to defend the justice of the choice, but to rush for a photo op clutching a giant hunk of meat to prove they are 'still strong'. This is textbook complicity. They subconsciously validate the meta-violence: that only by demonstrating the consumption of animal corpses can one earn 'masculine credit' in politics. They choose to perform as meat-eaters to reach a fake optimal expression, at the cost of their own subjectivity.

This is a weaponized struggle over the definition of 'strength'. By labeling vegans as 'dangerous radicals', Republicans are using a cognitive entry point to redefine 'compassion for life' as a 'threat to order'. This logic is isomorphic to the historical narrative that women are 'emotional and irrational' to justify denying them the vote. In this framework, the capacity for self-denial to combat climate change is dismissed as a weakness of 'undernourishment'.

This farce reveals that 'civilization' and 'rationality' in current political structures remain covers for masculine-centric narratives. If your phenotype doesn't match the 'strong predator' archetype, the value of your vote in the system is depreciated. Those politicians rushing to prove their meat-eating are simply handing a loyalty oath to the rulers of meta-violence.
