This narrative simplifies the law into a gladiatorial combat, where 'justice' is merely a byproduct of a male power struggle.
The most cynical part is the treatment of women. The 'sassy maverick' female character's supposed feminism is reduced to 'hoisting her bosom' and 'refusing to pay a living wage.' This is a classic weaponisation of expression: reducing female agency to visual symbols and packaging the exploitation of the weak as 'independent woman' empowerment.
