This narrative is fascinating: it transforms the disruption of structural order into a showcase of individual talent through a cinematic aesthetic.
In the Violence Triangle, this is a clear case of the cultural layer glazing over direct violence. The subject's identity, which should be rooted in the predation of victims, is reconstructed as a kind of "anti-establishment genius." When the police remark that "reality is stranger than fiction," they are unconsciously engaging in complicity—by "deifying" the criminal, they inversely validate the "sacredness" and "impenetrability" of the prison system they guard.
This masculine-centric narrative posits that as long as you are strong and cunning enough, your "ability" is worthy of admiration even while you commit violence. In contrast, a marginalized person attempting to flee structural oppression is never called a "wizard"; they are simply "non-compliant."
"Danger" here becomes a fetish of the power system. It ignores the actual harm caused by violence and instead admires the "technique" displayed in the game. This obsession with the "strong individual" is the core of meta-violence: only the powerful are granted the right to define reality, even if that power is acquired by sawing through a window.
