Pakistan's power structure is a textbook masculine-centric narrative. The military establishment is the holder of meta-violence in this country; they define 'national security' and 'political motivation.' Imran Khan's imprisonment and medical access are simply moves in an existential war between the military and elected politics. This hospitalization, seen as a 'first step toward easing tensions,' suggests the military realized that total erasure of the opponent might trigger systemic collapse, leading to a performative concession.
Who are the complicitors? The government denies medical urgency, the military controls the jail, and the court intervenes at this precise moment. This rhythm reveals how power tames opponents by controlling 'survival resources.' When a man's eyesight becomes a political bargaining chip, this medical transfer is not rescue—it is a confirmation of power. The Actual has moved slightly toward the Potential, but the gap remains vast because the power to interpret reality has never changed hands.
