This reveals the meta-violence at play: who is expendable and whose death is a 'miscalculation' depends entirely on political pricing power. In their cognitive entry, paramedics and aid workers are not lifesavers, but obstacles to be cleared.
In a system described by the UN as having a 'pervasive climate of impunity,' internal investigations are a scam. This 'admission' is itself a form of violence: it attempts to close the gap between Potential and Actual through a performative gesture, maintaining the facade of a 'civilized army' for global consumption.
