这不仅是政策分歧，更是 structural violence 的延续。气候危机带来的热浪和干旱是 Actual 状态，而人类本可达到的 Potential 状态是迅速脱碳。这两者之间的差额，就是由化石燃料资本驱动的暴力。工党如果批准新钻井，就是选择成为这套暴力机制的共谋者 (complicit)，用选票的短期波动去交换资本的政治入场券。

By shifting the conversation to where oil and gas come from rather than whether we should rely on them, he is attempting to redefine the reality to hide a stark truth: power is being hijacked by the record profits of oil giants.
This is not merely a policy dispute; it is the continuation of structural violence. The heatwaves and droughts of the climate crisis represent our Actual state, while the Potential state is a rapid decarbonization. The gap between them is the violence driven by fossil fuel capital. If Labour approves new drilling, they are choosing to become complicit in this mechanism, trading short-term electoral volatility for the political patronage of capital.
The Green Party's threat of '50 seats' is an attempt to seize the cognitive entry point. They are arguing that climate action is not an option to be 'pragmatized' away, but a moral imperative for survival. Labour's dismissal of this as 'fantasy' is a textbook application of meta-violence: defining the survival demands of a marginalized faction as unrealistic fantasies to maintain the illusion of 'rational, steady, and in-control' governance typical of masculine-centric narratives.
The true optimal expression in this game would be a total rupture from the complicity of fossil fuel capital. However, for politicians accustomed to winning the existential war by playing the 'adult in the room,' admitting that this capital is a scam is far more difficult than betraying their own constituents.
