When the Potential (the right to a peaceful old age) is severed by the Actual (deportation), the gap is violence.
There is a deeper complicity at play here. When this dependency collapses upon death, the system immediately seizes this information gap to execute punishment. The Swedish government uses the guise of 'procedural justice' to convert a right-wing shift in migration politics (restriction) into individual tragedies.
Claiming that 'state interest outweighs individual interest' is the most common shield for meta-violence. By defining what constitutes 'regulated immigration', it categorizes an elderly man with Parkinson's and a grieving widow as 'non-compliant anomalies'. This weaponisation of expression turns cold legal statutes into scalpels used to excise the vulnerable.
