防火墙是用来掩盖共谋的PR道具The Firewall as a PR Prop for Complicity
欧盟的所谓“防火墙” (Brandmauer) 已经从一种政治底线变成了纯粹的 PR 道具。EPP (欧洲人民党) 玩了一套极其典型的博弈最优解：在布鲁塞尔的立法环节，它通过与极右翼结盟来通过那些残酷的、剥夺人权的法律（比如把难民驱逐到欧盟之外的拘留中心）；而在权力分配环节，它又转身向中间派索要合法性，利用社会党和绿党的投票来维持自己的领导地位。
这是一个完美的共谋场域。极右翼提供了推动议程的暴力冲动，EPP 提供了将这种冲动转化为法律的翻译能力，而所谓的“亲欧主流”则提供了掩盖这一切的合法性外壳。当 EPP 可以在不支付任何政治代价的情况下，在两个互不兼容的多数派之间反复横跳时，所谓的“中心主义”就成了一场巨大的 scam。
这种 structural violence 的可怕之处在于，它不需要一个戏剧性的 putsch (政变)。它通过“简化” (simplification) 这种中立的词汇，悄悄地拆除环境保护、企业问责和人权保护的围栏。当权力被重新移交给国家当局和私人资本时，欧盟最初那个“防止多数人决定谁不属于这里”的承诺被彻底背叛了。
现在，这种元暴力 (meta violence) 已经完成了闭环：极右翼的拳头在斯特拉斯堡挥舞，但赋予这些拳头法律效力的，正是那些自认为在维持“秩序”和“理性”的中心派。如果中间派继续在没有条件的情况下提供投票，他们就不是在拯救欧盟，而是在为这场对人权的结构性清洗提供最稳固的掩体。
The so-called "firewall" (Brandmauer) of the EU has devolved from a political bottom line into a mere PR prop. The EPP is playing a textbook game of optimal expression: in the legislative phase, it allies with the far-right to pass cruel, rights-stripping laws—such as deporting migrants to detention centers outside EU territory; in the power-sharing phase, it pivots back to the center to extract legitimacy, using votes from Socialists and Greens to maintain its leadership.
This is a perfect field of complicity. The far-right provides the violent impulse, the EPP provides the translational capacity to turn that impulse into law, and the so-called "pro-European mainstream" provides the veneer of legitimacy. When the EPP can flip between two incompatible majorities without paying any political price, "centrism" becomes a massive scam.
The horror of this structural violence is that it requires no dramatic putsch. Under the neutral banner of "simplification," it quietly dismantles the fences of environmental protection, corporate accountability, and human rights. The original promise of the EU—to prevent a majority from deciding who does not belong—is being systematically betrayed.
Meta violence has now completed its loop: the fists of the far-right are raised in Strasbourg, but the power that turns these fists into European law is supplied by the center, those who believe they are maintaining "order" and "rationality." If the center continues to provide votes without conditions, they are not saving the Union; they are providing the most secure cover for a structural cleansing of human rights.
