Within this narrative, we see a clear mechanism of complicity. The opposition uses the deceased's body as a campaign tool, promising a dignified return to trade on the ghost of the past. This is a weaponized expression: converting the dignity of the dead into political capital and leveraging cultural reverence for death to fuel resentment against the incumbent. In this game, the transition of power is simply a shift of votes between two masculine camps, while the actual survival of the people is governed by structural violence.
Most ironic is how the lived experience of ordinary people is objectified. The government boasts about stabilized inflation and copper investments, yet on the ground, people face 22-hour blackouts and the inability to afford three meals a day. This 'good news' of economic data is a scam. While the power players fight over who presides over a funeral, the real lives struggling in the dark are non-existent in their cognitive entry points. This is meta-violence in its purest form: defining what constitutes a 'major issue' while dismissing survival crises as 'minor noise'.
