Within this masculine-centric narrative, success is quantified by money and power, while anyone attempting to constrain power through procedural justice (such as FIFA Council approval) is dismissed as noise.
The most cynical detail is the FFE proposal. FIFA attempted to sell a 21% stake in its tournament operations for $4.2 billion to Thrive Eternal, founded by the brother of Trump's son-in-law. This is pure meta violence: creating a cognitive entry point accessible only to insiders to privatize public sporting resources, then using the weaponized narrative of "commercial success" to mask structural plunder. In this logic, rules are burdens, and relationships are the only truth.
As for the "FIFA Peace Prize," it is merely a trade between two men desperate to be defined as "great" in their existential war. Infantino used a self-invented award to fill the void left by Trump's failure to win a Nobel, while Trump provided the political cover to extend Infantino's tenure. Together, they built a closed narrative: as long as you win, deception is simply the privilege of the successful.
