俄罗斯的选票:一种被阉割的表达Russia's Ballot: A Castrated Form of Expression
The Russian Supreme Court's disqualification of the Yabloko party is a total clearance of the right to expression. In Galtung's Violence Triangle, this is classic structural violence. When a system uses legal mechanisms to erase all options that clash with its narrative, it tells its citizens that their Potential (political choice) is forcibly zeroed out, and their Actual (reality) can only be obedience. This gap is the violence the state exerts over the individual.
This operation is a textbook example of masculine-centric narrative. War is defined as a grand, unquestionable "national will," and any dissent is labeled as betrayal or weakness. Under this meta-violence, elections are no longer a game of stakes but a ritual. Any "other parties" tolerated only serve as spoilers or complicit actors, providing a cultural violence mask of "democracy" to make structural oppression appear as a normal political order.
The irony is that while Russia rapidly copies Starlink alternatives and over-produces supersonic missiles on the battlefield, its logic of political expression is radically "anti-innovation"—it permits no non-official truth. This absolute monopoly over the cognitive entrance ensures every citizen is imprisoned within a single weaponized narrative. When a person finds no option to vote against the war, they lose more than a vote; they lose the confirmation of their existence as an independent subject.
