The Moderate Scam: New Branding, Same Massacre

Violence becomes most dangerous when it is packaged as 'rationality'.

Western media is executing a textbook manipulation of cognitive entry points. By framing Gadi Eisenkot as the 'anti-Netanyahu'—using sentimental narratives like the 'father who lost a son' and the 'humble soldier'—they are erasing a visceral fact: Eisenkot was not just a complicit member of the war cabinet, but an architect of the 'Dahiya Doctrine,' a war crime premised on the systematic destruction of civilian infrastructure.

In Galtung's Violence Triangle, this is high-level cultural violence. Netanyahu is a 'cartoon villain'; his arrogance makes violence visible and easy to critique. In contrast, 'moderates' like Eisenkot hide structural violence behind the sterile terminology of 'strategic failure' and 'security necessity.' He doesn't need to shout; he simply implements ethnic cleansing in Gaza and the West Bank in a 'decent' manner.

This is the weaponisation of expression: changing the branding while keeping the essence. For the people of Gaza and the West Bank, the gap between Potential and Actual remains unchanged; there is no shift in the violence layer. The so-called 'new chance' is merely a psychological placebo for Western liberal commentators, allowing them to support Israel without contradicting their 'human rights' rhetoric while the massacre continues under 'rational' leadership.

The most sickening complicity lies with the media that defines 'progress' as simply 'not being Netanyahu.' They don't care about Palestinian survival; they care about Israel's 'decency' in the international political landscape. When a butcher learns to wear a suit and speak in a moderate tone, he hasn't stopped killing—he has simply seized a more efficient power of interpretation.
