When a child is deprived of support in preschool, their 'optimal expression' is forcibly redefined as 'surviving on benefits.'
The most cynical complicity lies in the financial scam of this system. Spending £25 on benefits for every £1 spent on employment support is a grotesque inefficiency that maintains a 'crisis dependency.' The system preserves its power by managing crises rather than eliminating them. While the call for a 'preventive state' sounds like good news, we must be wary of another PR rebrand.
