In this framework, security is defined as 'I can watch you,' not 'How do we resolve the conflict.'
The irony is that while Russia uses a 'shadow fleet' of aging vessels to evade sanctions, the UK deploys high-cost warships to 'shadow' them. This is a form of systemic complicity: one side profits from loopholes, while the other maintains its resource quota by playing the 'guardian.' Actual peace or security is never on the agenda in this logic of meta violence.
