The Biological Wall on Terror Lists and the Cycle of Meta-Violence

Anti-terror mechanisms are the power to define 'abnormality', and that power is itself a form of meta-violence.

The Prevent program data proves once again that when the state defines 'extremism', it is engaging in a cognitive war over 'normalcy' versus 'abnormality'. The 42% rise in far-right referrals appears to be a defense against hate crime, but the structural layer reveals a dangerous narrative loop: when authorities monopolize the definition of 'radicalisation', any expression deviating from the mainstream middle-class narrative can be weaponized as a 'terror threat'.

The most disturbing detail is the inclusion of 'incel' extremism. Inceldom is not a simple political ideology, but a product of the collapse of the masculine-centric narrative. When these men find they can no longer redeem the sexual resources and power promised by the patriarchy by playing the 'strong man' or 'provider', they transform this frustration into misogyny. This is the core logic of meta-violence: they do not see themselves as perpetrators, but as 'deprived' victims. This distorted psychology of self-objectification eventually manifests as direct violence against female bodies.

Furthermore, the fact that 18% of referrals are autistic reveals another facet of structural violence. The expressive differences brought by neurodiversity are simplified into 'suspicious signs' by an unempathetic bureaucratic system. This is a clear case of complicity: security agencies and social norms collaborate to mark those with non-standard social expressions as potential threats. Here, the biological wall is not just physical, but cognitive—if you lack 'standard' social expression, you become a red dot on the security radar.

Claims of 'keeping the public safe' are often a camouflage for cultural violence. With 56% of referrals having no identified ideology, the program has effectively become a giant 'outcast collection box'. It does not aim to eliminate violence, but to categorize and control those who cannot be digested by the existing power structure through a secretive list.
