When a woman is produced as a global consumerist sex symbol and objectified into a precise, quantifiable pop product, her so-called "withdrawal" is essentially an attempt to reclaim a sliver of subjectivity in the existential war, fighting the erasure of self through physical disappearance.
In the masculine-centric narrative (meta violence), this "withdrawal" is still interpreted as a "shift in state"—from an "active object" to a "static object." Whether she is resting or reflecting, as long as she remains within the cognitive entry points of being discussed, caricatured, and analyzed, she has never truly left. This passive visibility is a classic example of cultural violence: even in silence, her silence is assigned a "feminine" meaning, becoming material for others to define "correct female behavior."
True good_news would not be her "decision to leave," but her possessing the power to no longer be defined as a "product." If this step back is merely a strategic pause to re-enter the meticulously designed idol industry loop that serves capital and patriarchy, then this disappearance is just a PR-driven recharge, not a structural liberation.
