Those who dictate climate policy, lead industrial civilization, and define 'growth' from the seats of power remain the architects of a masculine-centric narrative. They sold a scam called 'progress,' and the cost is the transformation of Mediterranean forests into combustible fuel, forcing the grassroots to play the role of passive victims in a desperate flight.
The most cynical part of this complicity is the rapid deployment of 'national coordinators' for reconstruction. This is a weaponized expression: by projecting an image of being 'under control,' they mask the systemic failure. There is no intent to modify the root rules that caused the collapse; instead, they use PR to maintain legitimacy over the ruins. This 'control' is merely a mechanism to ensure that victims return to a state of passive obedience, waiting for orders until the next fire arrives.
