In this narrative, the human is no longer a subject but a database entry. When an entry is labeled an 'error,' everything attached to it—children's schooling, rental contracts, professional careers—is objectified as redundant data to be deleted. The suggestion to apply via 'other immigration routes' is simply another weaponized expression, transforming a guaranteed right into a plea for mercy.
This is a test of the boundaries of deprivation. When a state can unilaterally tear up the Withdrawal Agreement by defining a 'mistake,' it is constructing a Hostile Environment. This is an extension of meta-violence: the power to define who is a 'qualified' resident and whose rights are 'real' remains exclusively with the one who can suddenly declare you an 'error.'
