The current AI narrative perfectly inherits this logic: by manufacturing the illusion of a "pure spirit," it lures people into a sedentary existence, alienating them into mere appendages of a meat machine. This is a form of complicity; the powerful define what constitutes "intelligence," while the marginalized, anesthetized by virtual reality, forget their subjectivity as biological beings.
Ironically, this refusal of the body leads directly to a refusal of life. When the self is imagined as a mere packet of information, empathy loses its biological foundation. Without a body, there is no pain, no aging, and no death—meaning there is no real stake. An existence without a stake is incapable of producing Just Expressions. We are entering an era governed by statistical patterns, where the most expensive luxury will be the realization that one possesses a flesh-and-blood body that can hurt, tire, and die.
