ScamThe AI Crash: A Financial Scam of 'Definition Power'

When actual capability hits the biological wall, capital creates a fake Potential by redefining reality.

The AI chip sell-off is essentially the collapse of a weaponized narrative. For years, the industry conflated 'compute' with 'productivity,' manufacturing a massive illusion of Potential. But as investors realize this Potential wasn't driven by exponential technical breakthroughs, but by a circular funding scam led by giants like Nvidia, the bubble burst.

This so-called 'AI Revolution' was largely a desperate move by capital when faced with physical limits—such as power efficiency and electricity supply. Unable to achieve a real leap in capability, they expanded data centers via massive borrowing, using scale to mask stagnation and redefining 'progress' on their own terms. It is the same mechanism as announcing a new 'law' when the old one fails: if reality doesn't cooperate, change the ruler.

The news of China's homegrown DUV production served as the final pin. It revealed that when 'technical barriers' can be rapidly bypassed by another power center through structural investment, the 'scarcity' defined by the monopolists becomes a blatant scam. Investors are jittery because they realize they weren't buying tickets to the future, but overpriced silicon.

This sell-off is a long-overdue calibration. It reminds us that any Potential supported only by narrative, detached from actual physical capability, will eventually be violently erased by the void of Actual.
