This expression was never about communication; it was an optimal expression strategy in an existential war: using a "bottom-up and just" identity to rapidly acquire political capital and discourse power.
In reality, while serving as a parliamentary aide, he defrauded taxpayers of over £6,000 through false travel and accommodation claims. This exposes a cynical complicity: a man who publicly rails against injustice internalized the meta-violence of the power core—the belief that his "special status" entitled him to plunder public resources. His "social change" was merely a narrative shield for the actual goal of profiting from structural privilege.
Such individuals excel at manufacturing a "truth" at the cultural layer, leading the public to believe they represent some grassroots justice, thereby gaining higher pricing power in the social game. When the mask slips, we see not a man alienated by the system, but a profiteer who precisely weaponised a justice narrative to facilitate his theft. His "leftist" identity was never meant to liberate others; it was meant to make his own predation feel legitimate.
