奥林匹斯山的“神圣”包装与保护主义 scamThe 'Sacred' Packaging of Mount Olympus and the Preservation Scam

Using mythical narratives to anchor cognitive entries, packaging structural destruction as an urgent need for preservation.

A classic case of weaponized expression. Greek officials are attempting to upgrade Mount Olympus from a 'natural resource' to 'World Heritage' by intensifying the deployment of Zeus's throne, Homer's epics, and Byzantine monasteries to manufacture a sense of 'sacredness' that transcends reality.

Stripping away the packaging reveals a game of pricing power. Against the backdrop of Christopher Nolan's *The Odyssey* activating a global subconscious interest in Ancient Greece, a region already facing the structural violence of overtourism and climate breakdown suddenly rushes for an international label. This isn't preservation; it is an attempt to secure higher bargaining power and administrative legitimacy in the global tourism market before the carrying capacity hits its absolute limit.

The most cynical complicity lies in the claim that protection is the 'alpha and omega,' while the actual goal is securing funds to upgrade roads and bridges—the very infrastructure that accelerates environmental degradation. By using a cultural-layer mythical narrative to mask a structural-layer developmental logic, they allow tourists to participate in a consumerist carnival under the delusion that they are 'safeguarding civilization.'

True preservation doesn't require a designation from a meeting in Busan; it requires an end to the masculine-centric logic of treating natural landscapes as commercial chips. If a place must be defined as the 'abode of gods' just to secure its right to exist, then reality has already been killed by the weaponization of narrative.
