中东战场的“男人们”与被抹除的背景板The 'Men' of the Middle East and the Erased Backgrounds

战争是男性中心叙事的最高形式:将人体降格为消耗品以交换宏大意义。
War is the ultimate masculine-centric narrative: degrading human bodies into consumables to exchange for grand meanings.

Reading this news, you don't see a war; you see a massive closed-loop performance of a masculine-centric narrative. Houthi rebels vow 'retaliation' on Telegram, Saudi Arabia claims a 'decisive response' on X, and Trump plays psychological games with 'massive attacks' in the Oval Office. This is classic meta-violence: a group of men controlling the machinery of violence defining what constitutes an 'escalation,' who are 'terrorists,' and what makes a negotiation 'serious.'

In this narrative loop, all expression is weaponized. They are fighting for the power of interpretation—the right to define who is 'threatening commercial shipping' or 'targeting civilian facilities.' But notice how the actual victims—women and children in those bombed civilian infrastructures—don't even merit a specific adjective. They are merely background noise within the structural term 'civilian infrastructure.' This is the peak efficiency of cultural violence: making direct violence appear as a game of 'strategy' and 'dignity' rather than a bloody slaughter.

Most ironic is Trump's rhetoric about 'trusting' Putin and Xi. This private trust based on 'don't let me down' is essentially a Fraternity-style alliance. They have simplified global geopolitics into a game between a few Alpha Males, where the chips are the bodies of countless people who have no say in the decision. Under this logic of meta-violence, the human body is completely objectified as a consumable resource to be exchanged for so-called 'national interest' or 'regional stability.'

This is a textbook existential war, where the winners define the rules and the losers are erased from the statistics. There is no 'Just Expression' here, only complicity at different levels: from the soldiers executing strikes to the journalists writing the narratives, all maintaining the machinery of this masculine-centric world.
