Turning masochistic romance into traffic assets is a self-deceptive optimal expression within the patriarchal structure.

The title "Prison Wives of TikTok" is a massive scam. It packages romantic relationships between women and prisoners as a "recent development," but in reality, it is merely the digitalization and branding of the classic romantic love trap. By broadcasting their affairs on social media, these women attempt to seize cognitive entry points, transforming an extremely asymmetrical relationship—rooted in biological walls and structural confinement—into money-making power via TikTok filters.

In this narrative, women enter into a subconscious complicity with the patriarchal structure. By performing the role of a recognized, self-sacrificing woman, they seek a "fake optimal expression" in a low-barrier niche. This is not a true optimal expression because its fuel is internalized self-deprecation. As they discuss brand-building around these relationships, they are objectifying their own subjectivity into a consumable commodity in exchange for a marginal sense of power in virtual spaces.

Most ironically, this brand-building still operates within a masculine-centric narrative. No matter how much traffic they generate, the core remains centered on the imprisoned male. It is simply the migration of private masochism into the public sphere, allowing the masses to perform cultural violence through spectatorship. This so-called "community" is not true solidarity; it is a group of patients who have fallen into the same romantic trap, mutually confirming that their chains are sufficiently heavy.
