Warehouse Fires and the Consumption of Flesh

War is the ultimate form of masculine-centric narrative, reducing human bodies to consumable tools.

Ukrainian drones strike Wildberries warehouses in Moscow while Russian ballistic missiles blanket Kyiv. In these grand narratives of "war efforts" and "strategic stockpiles," the essence is a gamble on the consumption of flesh. War is the apex of meta violence: a power center dominated by men defines "glory" and "necessity," then erases the existence of countless individuals, converting them into death tolls in a spreadsheet.

The complicity within this narrative is the most revolting part. As Ukraine debates Syrskyi's replacement, the requirement that the successor be "known and popular so everyone applauds" reveals that even in a war of survival, public expression is distorted into a performance. The powerful do not care about the actual attrition on the front lines; they care about maintaining the stability of the narrative through a "popular" symbol, ensuring the consumed masses remain in a state of deceived psychological security.

Meanwhile, on the sunken cargo ships in the Black Sea, Syrian, Indian, and Ukrainian sailors become the collateral damage of this masculine power game. They belong to no defined "camp," yet they are torn apart by direct violence outside any biological wall. This is the logic of the masculine-centric narrative: as long as it serves the achievement of some grand objective, any body outside the power core can be objectified as a replaceable part.
