被阉割的成长与Netflix的纯情scamCastrated Growth and the Netflix Pure-Love Scam

Using 'purity' to erase reality is another form of cultural violence.

Netflix has turned *Heartstopper Forever* into a massive, greenhouse-like scam. When the protagonists act as 18-year-olds but behave like biologically filtered plastic mannequins in sex scenes, this 'purity' is no longer romance; it is the deprivation of authentic existential experience.

Kit Connor’s mention of 'cheating, stupidity, and chaos' is the real game of existential war for teenagers. Instead, Netflix opted for a 'Fake Optimal Expression': stripping away all unseemly truths and replacing them with a sanitized, sterile narrative to define queer teen life. This process of sanitization is essentially telling the audience that an identity is only consumable if it is stripped of desire, chaos, and flaws. This isn't growth; it is the death of subjectivity.

Most nauseating are the clunky LGBTQ+ rights PSAs. Elle’s sudden, carpet-bombing lecture on legal rights is lazy writing. It isn't character development; it is an attempt to seize the cognitive entrance through 'correct' political signaling. By slapping on a 'progressive' label, the filmmakers feel entitled to continue using cultural violence to castrate the characters' actual lives in the main plot.

This 'cozy indulgence' is a form of complicity. The platform, the creators, and a segment of the audience collaborate to build a shelter called 'pure love.' In this shelter, queer identity is reduced to a dessert-like aesthetic symbol. When real bodily experiences—the awkward, imperfect, and messy parts of sex—are excluded, the expression becomes a weapon. It subtly defines 'normal' queer love: it must be clean, harmless, and compliant with middle-class aesthetic expectations.
